Alex Bastian

Alexander Bastian, Ph.D., is currently serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Biology at Elon University since August 2024 and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since January 2023. Alexander obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology and Immunology from The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, completing the program in 2022. Prior academic achievements include earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biochemistry from Washington University in St. Louis in 2016.
