Alexander Saunders

Alexander Saunders currently serves as the Director of Internal Communications at Elon University since December 2023. Prior experience includes roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Content and Communications Specialist – Advanced, where storytelling was utilized to connect students, faculty, and community partners, alongside supervising student workers and leading a statewide Engagement Week. At North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Alexander was the Director of Communications for the College of Engineering, responsible for sharing the college's stories and serving as its primary storyteller. Previous roles also include Director of Media and Communications at Hope CommUnity Center, Public Awareness Director at Prevent Child Abuse Louisiana, and media production roles at various organizations, including WFSU TV/FM Public Broadcasting. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production from Florida State University.
