Corey Roberts

Corey Roberts is an experienced educator and project manager currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Native American and Indigenous Studies at Elon University since August 2024. Prior to this role, Corey held various academic positions at the University of Arizona, including Instructor of Linguistics and Instructor of Interdisciplinary Studies, where courses focused on language acquisition and operationalizing education for career advancement. Corey's consulting experience includes serving as a Project Manager at Kedge Conservation & Social Impact Consulting, collaborating with Indigenous and African American communities on environmental and social projects. With a diverse background in coaching, research, and acting, Corey's educational credentials include a PhD in Linguistics and an MA in American Indian/Native American Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from the University of Arizona, alongside a Master's in Theatre Pedagogy and a Bachelor's in Foreign Languages and Theatre.
