Hillary Zaken

Hillary Zaken currently serves as the Director of Multifaith Programming and Engagement at Elon University since May 2017, holding earlier roles such as Interim Assistant Dean of Multifaith Engagement and Assistant Director of Jewish Life. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Communications at American Hebrew Academy and Development Manager at Junior Achievement of the Triad. Hillary worked as a freelance writer, translator, and editor for over a decade and held positions in communications and human resources at Albaad USA Inc. and as a breaking news editor at The Times of Israel. Additional journalism experience spans freelance work with prominent publications, and Hillary has also managed a business and served as a fixer and researcher for various media outlets. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Studies and Religion from Bard College and an EMAJPS in Jewish Professional Studies.
