Lior Horonchik

Lior Horonchik has over 16 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry. Lior is currently serving as the Head of Clinical Operations at Eloxx Pharmaceuticals, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, they held the same role at Body Vision Medical LTD from October 2018 to June 2021. Lior also served as the Director of Regulatory and Clinical Affairs at Body Vision Medical LTD from August 2017 to October 2018.

Before joining Body Vision Medical LTD, Lior Horonchik worked as a Clinical Research Consultant at their own consultancy firm, Lior Horonchik Consultancy, from September 2012 to August 2017. Prior to that, they held roles as a Clinical Trials Associate and a Clinical Trials Coordinator at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from December 2009 to June 2012.

Lior Horonchik began their career as a Research Fellow at the Harvard School of Public Health in 2005, where they worked until 2008. With their extensive experience in clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and clinical research, Lior Horonchik brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role at Eloxx Pharmaceuticals.

Lior Horonchik has an extensive education history in the field of biology and cell biology. They started their academic journey at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in the years 1995 to 1998. Following their bachelor's degree, Lior pursued further studies at the same institution and earned a Master of Science degree in Cell Biology from 1998 to 1999. They continued their education at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and completed a Ph.D. in Cell Biology- Drug Discovery between 2000 and 2005. Later on, in 2009, Lior Horonchik attended Boston College and obtained a Certificate in Clinical Research.
