Giorgos Tsioumas

Giorgos Tsioumas has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Clinical Research Associate at Elpen Pharmaceutical Co. Inc. Giorgos began in February 2022 and has progressively advanced in the company, previously working as a Jr. Clinical Research Associate from July 2021 to February 2022, and as a Clinical Research Assistant from February 2021 to July 2021.

Prior to their role at Elpen Pharmaceutical Co. Inc., Giorgos worked as a Pharmacist at a private pharmacy from April 2020 to July 2020, and as a Pharmacist at the General Hospital of Lamia from January 2020 to March 2020.

During their military service in the Greek Army from November 2018 to August 2019, Giorgos served as a Pharmacy Assistant, handling various responsibilities including computer programming, secretarial support, and general duties.

Before their military service, Giorgos worked as a Pharmacist at a private pharmacy from March 2018 to June 2018, and from November 2017 to February 2018.

In terms of academic experience, Giorgos completed an undergraduate thesis at the University of Patras from October 2017 to June 2018. The thesis was carried out in collaboration with the Departments of Medicine and Pharmacology at the university.

Giorgos Tsioumas is currently a postgraduate student pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Trials: Design and Conduct at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, Medical School of Athens. Giorgos began their postgraduate studies in 2020 and is expected to complete their degree in the future. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) from the University of Patras, where they studied from 2013 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Giorgos Tsioumas has obtained several certifications. Giorgos is a licensed pharmacist, certified by the Greek Ministry of Health since July 2021. Giorgos has also completed various other certifications, including First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) from the Hellenic Red Cross - Samaritans, Rescuers and Lifeguards Sector in February 2023, ICH Good Clinical Practice E6 (R2) from The Global Health Network in August 2022, RWD - RWE in Clinical Studies from KAN Consulting MON. I.K.E. in May 2021, LRN Proficiency (LEVEL C2) from Learning Resource Network, Esolnet Hellas in September 2020, CCU - Certified Computer User from ACTA SA - Spin Off Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in March 2020, and Competent User of English from the British Council IELTS (International English Language Testing System) in July 2020.
