Olga Galanopoulou has extensive work experience at Elpen Pharmaceutical Co. Inc. Beginning in 1999, they worked as a Quality Control Chemist until 2001. Olga then transitioned to the R&D department as a Chemist and remained in that role until 2019. In November 2019, they were promoted to Manager of Analytical Development.

Olga Galanopoulou completed their education at Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon. Olga obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Analytical Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry in 1999. Olga later pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Pharmaceutical Analysis-Quality Control, specializing in Analytical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences, from 2003 to 2006. Continuing their academic journey, they completed their PhD in Pharmaceutical Analysis-Quality Control, specializing in Pharmaceutical Sciences, from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the same institution from 2006 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Olga Galanopoulou also obtained several certifications. Olga completed courses such as "Introduction to Mathematical Thinking," "Design and Interpretation of Clinical Trials," "Game Theory," "Mathematical Biostatistics Boot Camp 1," "Statistical Reasoning for Public Health 2: Regression Methods," and "Statistical Reasoning for Public Health 1: Estimation, Inference, & Interpretation" through Coursera. These courses suggest their interest in mathematical thinking, clinical trials, game theory, biostatistics, and statistical reasoning for public health.
