Priyantha S Dissanayake

Mr. Priyantha S Dissanayake is an engineering graduate from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, specialized in Electrical Engineering.

He holds a Masters degree of Business Administration [MBA] from University of Moratuwa, specialized in Information Technology. He is currently studying for a distance based MSc in Sustainable Energy Engineering of KTH University, Stockholm, Sweden. He participated for “The UN Winter School on Sustainable Consumption and Production in Asia and the Pacific”, a SWITCH Asia programme, representing Sri Lanka, in 2016.

He has more than 18 years of experience after graduation, mainly in the energy sector. He has been serving to M/s Elpitiya Plantations PLC, as the Head of Engineering division since, January 2007, and Head of Business Sustainability since 2013. He has memberships of several professional bodies, namely, Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka (AMIESL), Sri Lanka Energy Managers Association (MSLEMA), Bio Energy Association of Sri Lanka (MBEASL) and Certified Professional Managers (ACPM) of Sri Lanka.
