Thais Mendez de Andes brings extensive experience in finance, operations, and humanitarian efforts, currently serving as the Director of Finance and Operations at Elrha. Previously, Thais held various leadership roles at Save the Children UK, including Humanitarian Operations Lead and interim positions as Head of Region for the Middle East & Asia and Head of Humanitarian Awards. Additional experience includes serving as Head of Donor Compliance at Marie Stopes International, Head of Donors Relations and Projects Support Office at UNRWA, and Deputy Director of Grants & Contracts at the International Rescue Committee. Thais holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Management from SOAS University of London and a Master's degree in International Development from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
