Barry Dinvaut, E.I.T has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Barry currently works at Elroy Air as a Test Engineer since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Textron as a Mechanical Design Engineer from June 2020 to July 2021. Barry also has experience as a Mechanical Engineer, where they worked as a self-employed contractor from January 2017 to July 2021. In this role, they designed and modeled various products and assemblies using Solidworks, performed FEA and CFD analysis, and worked on projects including sheet metal parts, custom taillights, suspensions, chassis, and rear wings.

Barry has also worked as a Test Engineer at A2 Research/NASA, providing mechanical testing and data acquisition for the SLS heavy lift rocket and Orion crew capsule. Barry has experience troubleshooting and collecting data from various sensors. Additionally, they worked as an Independent Contractor, Failure Analyst at Bike Taxi Unlimited and as the Team Leader for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Eco Car Team.

Barry Dinvaut, E.I.T obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, from 2005-2014. Barry also holds additional certifications including the Fundamentals of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering from NCEES, obtained in September 2017, and the Solidworks Certified Professional from Dassault Systèmes, obtained in August 2017.
