Joseph Tiseo's work experience includes various roles in the engineering field. Joseph is currently working as an Avionics Engineer at Elroy Air since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Safe Flight Instrument Corporation for over 13 years. At Safe Flight, they held multiple roles such as Manager of Electrical Design, Product Line Manager - Exceedance Warning, Project Manager, Senior Design Engineer, and Digital Design Engineer. Joseph started at Safe Flight in February 2008 and ended their tenure in October 2021. Before joining Safe Flight, Joseph had co-op positions at Datascope in 2006 and at Goodrich in 2005, where they gained experience as an Electrical Engineering Co-op.

Joseph Tiseo obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Joseph further pursued their education at the same institute from 2009 to 2013, earning a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Electrical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Joseph also obtained additional certifications, including a Private Pilot License from the Federal Aviation Administration in May 2017 and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Purdue University in August 2016.
