Yeban Shin has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. They started their career as a Design Intern at ARK in 2012 and later became an Industrial Designer at the same company. In 2014, Yeban joined Fellow AI as a Founding Partner, where they led interactive design projects and developed a customer location guide robot named OSHbot. They also served as the Design Lead at Fellow AI, successfully launching robots in multiple retail stores in the US and Japan. Yeban worked closely with Fortune 100 retailers, built teams, and initiated designs for enhanced customer service UI. After leaving Fellow AI in 2019, Yeban joined Elroy Air as a Designer, creating eVTOL aircraft for cargo transport and delivery. They collaborated with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. In 2021, Yeban worked at YBD as a Designer. They also worked as an Adjunct Professor and Lecturer at the California College of the Arts starting in 2018. In 2022, Yeban became the UX Lead at Elroy Air, contributing to the company's mission of expanding the reach of expedited logistics via air cargo.
Yeban Shin obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Industrial and Product Design from the California College of the Arts. In August 2020, Yeban also obtained a certification in UX Design from General Assembly. Additionally, in May 2020, Yeban obtained certifications in Aerospace Structure and Materials from TU Delft | Aerospace Engineering, and in Mechanical Ventilation for COVID-19 from Harvard Medical School.
