Maja Lamik

Maja Lamik is an experienced ESL instructor, currently employed by ELS Educational Services, Inc. since September 2017, where responsibilities include assessing new students and providing guidance to enhance their classroom performance. Previously, Maja served as an adjunct instructor at Northeastern Illinois University from January 2015 to December 2017, teaching developmental writing and reading skills to prepare freshmen for college courses. Additional roles at Northeastern Illinois University included leading an ESL conversation group and working as a writing tutor, which contributed to students' improved language skills. Maja also taught beginner level ESL classes at the Polish American Association from December 2016 to September 2017. Maja holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language to Speakers of Other Languages and a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History, both from Northeastern Illinois University.
