Joakim Ljungblad

Joakim Ljungblad has a diverse and extensive work experience, spanning over several industries and roles. Joakim currently serves as the Interim CTO at Ovulai since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Elsa Science starting from March 2022.

Joakim co-founded Swirl in January 2021, which aimed to be the world's first platform for existential well-being. There, they managed sessions, courses, and the community.

From May 2021 to February 2022, Joakim was a Full Stack Engineer at It's Re:Leased, where they contributed to the high-paced development of the startup. Joakim focused on delivering key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the company's growth. Their role involved expertise in NextJs, React Static, Nodejs, GraphQL, Apollo, PostgreSQL, GitLab, Vercel, GCP, and Stripe API.

In April 2016, Joakim co-founded World's Marathons, assuming the role of CTO. During their tenure until August 2020, they aimed to make World's Marathons the go-to destination for long-distance runners, providing an extensive event calendar and showcasing exciting marathons globally.

Earlier in their career, Joakim worked as a Web Software Developer at Minut from September 2016 to January 2017, building an internal web-based management system for employees. Joakim employed technologies like NodeJs, Express, Angular, and MongoDB.

Joakim gained experience as a Software Developer at Nmbrs BV from July 2013 to August 2016, and also briefly served as a System Developer at Collector from March to June 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a System Developer at The Nilorn Group from May 2010 to March 2013.

Joakim initially began their career as a Technician at Ericsson, although specific details about their role are not provided.

Joakim Ljungblad pursued their education at various institutions, starting with their Upper Secondary School education at Sven Erikson Gymnasiet from 2003 to 2006. Joakim focused on the field of study of Information Technology during this time. Following that, Joakim attended the University of Gothenburg from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science.
