Massie Arueyingho, P.Eng

Massie Arueyingho, P.Eng has worked in the engineering field since 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as an Engineering Research Assistant at Carleton University, where they optimized and developed sustainable processes for the growth of algae to create algae based fuel. Massie researched and collected data of algae growth in modified fuel mediums, and compiled energy feasibility reports on the lab scale production of algae based biofuel. In 2017, Massie joined Else Labs Inc. as their Engineering Lead, PM Product Testing. In this role, they led the Else Labs hardware team product development project, and performed tasks central to the project's progress, including scheduling, tasks and resource management. Massie was also familiar with tools such as JIRA, confluence, basecamp and smartsheets. Additionally, they coordinated with multidisciplinary project leads in culinary, software, electrical and marketing departments to align product goals, and communicated progress and roadblocks to executive management.

Massie Arueyingho, P.Eng obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering from Carleton University between 2012 and 2016. In May 2021, Massie obtained a Professional Engineer certification from Professional Engineers Ontario.
