Jay Nieto

Jay Nieto has over four decades of experience in program and project management within the defense sector, primarily focusing on the US Navy's systems and logistics. Currently serving as Program Manager at ELS, Inc. since 2010, Jay manages a 25-person team responsible for the US Navy's Mission Critical Data Control System under a SEAPORTe Contract. Prior to this role, extensive experience at Boeing included positions such as Network Communications Systems Program Manager and Field Site Manager for various US Navy destroyer programs, overseeing technical performance, cost, and schedule. Jay's early career included roles at Long Beach & Mare Island Naval Shipyards and as a Combat Engineer in the United States Marine Corps. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from California State University, Long Beach.
