Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Elucidata

Ayush Praveen has a diverse work experience in the field of bioinformatics and data analysis. From May 2019 to October 2021, Ayush worked at Elucidata, initially as a Data Science Intern, then as a Data Analyst, and finally as a Bioinformatics Scientist II. During this time, Ayush was involved in various projects and responsibilities related to data analysis and bioinformatics.

Prior to joining Elucidata, Ayush was a Masters Student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, from August 2016 to December 2018. There, they focused on exploring novel therapeutic targets for colorectal cancer, conducting research in the areas of bioinformatics, cancer biology, and molecular biology.

Additionally, Ayush gained early research experience as a Winter Intern at INMAS, Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), from January 2015 to March 2015. In this role, Ayush worked on cox-2 signaling, utilizing techniques such as animal cell culture, molecular biology, and various invitro assays.

Ayush Praveen's education history begins in 2012 when they enrolled in Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College in India. Ayush pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Biotechnology, completing their studies in 2016.

Following their undergraduate degree, Ayush Praveen continued their education at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. From 2016 to 2018, they pursued a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Biosciences and Bioengineering.

In addition to their formal education, Ayush Praveen has obtained certifications in specific areas of expertise. In March 2022, they completed a certification titled "Introduction to Designing Data Lakes on AWS" through Coursera. This was followed by another certification, "Explainable AI: Scene Classification and GradCam Visualization," which they obtained in May 2023, also from Coursera.
