Shilpa Nair

Shilpa Nair has extensive work experience in the field of bioinformatics and software engineering. Shilpa currently holds the role of Team Lead (Python & Bioinformatics) at Elucidata since July 2022. Prior to this, Shilpa worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific for several years. Shilpa started as an Associate Software Engineer in July 2015 and then progressed to become a Software Engineer II in March 2017. Their most recent role at Thermo Fisher Scientific was as a Software Engineer III from May 2021 to July 2022.

Shilpa Nair has a Master's degree in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, which they obtained from the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Delhi University, where they studied from 2010 to 2013.
