Reza Mir

Reza Mir has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and architecture. Reza has worked as a Senior Software Engineer/Architect at Eluvio since 2019, where they focus on the design and development of audio/video pipeline. Reza has also designed and developed a new audio/video transcoding pipeline, which is available as an open-source project.

Prior to Eluvio, Reza worked as a Senior Software Engineer at SecureKey Technologies Inc in 2018. Before that, they spent several years at IBM Canada - Aspera as a Senior Software Engineer/Architect, where they worked on the architecture and development of core applications for file transfer and streaming.

Reza also has experience working at OpenText as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on proprietary social collaboration systems and improved the performance of the FirstClass email system. Reza has also worked as an Architect at Swift Trade and as a Senior Software Engineer at Oanda, Bluecat Networks, and Navaho Networks, where they were involved in designing and developing various server-side components.

In addition, Reza has experience as a Programmer/Analyst at 407 ETR, where they designed and developed real-time protocols for transferring car trip information. Reza also worked at Procom Technology as a Linux kernel developer, focusing on kernel development.

Reza Mir obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Sharif University of Technology between 1989 and 1994. Additionally, Reza Mir has obtained additional certifications such as Deep Learning from Coursera in February 2020, and IBM Blockchain Foundation for Developers certificate from Coursera Course Certificates in July 2018.
