Laura Innis

Laura Innis has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Laura is currently serving as the VP of Talent at ELVTR since May 2023. In 2021, they founded Rancho Paraíso de Sorrento, a company that combines horses and mindfulness for personal growth and connection. Prior to that, they worked as a Talent Acquisition Consultant at Pivotal Talent Search LLC starting from February 2023. Laura was also the Talent Acquisition Manager at Deep Instinct from August 2021 to September 2022, where they had the opportunity to promote the company on Mad Money with Jim Cramer. Before that, Laura served as the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner and Global Recruitment Manager at OLIVER Agency from November 2019 to August 2021. Laura also worked as a Senior Corporate Recruiter in Dublin at the same company from March 2019 to August 2019. Prior to their time at OLIVER Agency, Laura worked at Trilateral IT as a Sr. Recruiter specializing in cyber security from July 2018 to June 2019. Laura also has experience as the Director of Deco Lounge Hertford from January 2008 to January 2018. Additionally, they started up the Scientific Division in San Diego as the Director of Business Development at R&D Partners, where they successfully landed the company's third-largest worldwide client within six months. Before that, Laura gained seven years of expertise as a Recruitment Account Executive in various industries and locations worldwide, including scientific, clinical, engineering, executive search, medical device, business development, oil & gas, and petrochemical. Laura'sexperience also includes on-site team management and business development in global key accounts.

Laura Innis has a diverse education history. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife with a field of study in Herpetology from Humboldt State University. Laura also pursued further education at The University of Memphis, where they started a Ph.D. program in MMCS (Microbiology and Molecular Cell Sciences) with an emphasis in Biochemistry. However, it is unclear whether they completed this degree.

Laura Innis also attended Smith College, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Biology, focusing on Salamander Phylogeny and Genetics. At the University of Exeter, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma Program (PG Cert) in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy and Approaches.

In addition to their academic achievements, Laura Innis has pursued various certifications. Laura obtained certifications in AI and HR from LinkedIn Online Training Courses, Equine Mindfulness Facilitator from the Equine Academy, Certified Mule Skinner from Grand Canyon National Park, Certification in NFT's from Udemy, and Certified Blockchain Expert™ from the Blockchain Council. All of these certifications were obtained between 2021 and 2023.

Currently, Laura Innis is enrolled in a Diploma in Software Development at Code Institute, focusing on Full Stack Web Development, with an expected completion date in 2018.
