Karl Bergman has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Karl served as the CEO of Elypta since April 2017, where they led the development of a novel liquid biopsy platform for cancer detection. Prior to that, they were the Chief Digital Officer at Praktikertjänst AB, where they developed the digital health strategy and implemented it across the organization. From 2008 to 2016, Karl worked at Arthur D. Little, starting as a Business Analyst and progressing to Manager and then Principal. Karl gained experience in strategy development and implementation, market analysis, restructuring, and digitalization, with a focus on digital health transformation and emerging technologies in life sciences. Additionally, they had internships at Climate Change Capital Ltd, Roche, and Public Intellectual Property Resource for Agriculture, where they gained experience in private equity, technology strategy, and patent analysis. Karl also worked as an Analyst and Project Evaluator at SYNERGON and Chalmers Innovation respectively, and served as a Project Manager at GöteborgBIO and MedCoast Scandinavia.
Karl Bergman has a diverse education history. In 2000, they began their studies at Chalmers University of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering. Karl continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Bioengineering in 2005.
