Michael Snyder

As the Chief Executive Officer for the corporation, Mike communicates and leads the internal implementation of the company’s vision, tone, and strategic direction. He is responsible for achieving EMKS’s operational objectives by overseeing information and recommendations to strategic plans, leading the company’s growth initiatives, managing senior-level customer relationships and delivery of solutions to clients and promises to clients, partners and employees alike. Mike provides leadership for business planning and ensuring that all team members understand the plans and exactly how their role impacts the success of those plans. His philosophy of people first shapes the entire organization by using cross-functional teams and projects to infuse an overall sense of common vision across the company with a “One Team” approach to leadership. Mike is actively leading the day-to-day leadership and oversight of all operations management, strategic planning, subcontractor management, contract administration, project planning & execution, recruiting, and business development.

A self-motivated, highly effective leader, Mike brings senior executive experience with over 37 years of progressive experience in health care delivery, information systems leadership and management, managing large budgets and programs. His background includes improving operations, growing businesses, and maximizing financial success through achievements in customer service, organizational effectiveness, and programmatic efficiencies. Mike leverages his extensive professional experience in both commercial and federal sector experience to bring value to clients. He is a certified Project Management Professional dedicated to improving processes and performance in critical business and information technology initiatives and believes that success is ultimately about developing solutions that deliver required capabilities and exceed user expectations for better information and improved business processes.

Mike holds a Master's in Health Services Administration from the University of Washington, a Bachelor of Science in Management from Park University, an Associates of Science from George Washington University, and was certified as a Healthcare Executive by the American College of Healthcare Executives as well as a Program Management Professional.
