Cris Bañez

Cris Bañez is an experienced talent acquisition leader currently serving as the Head of Talent Acquisition for Emapta Global since August 2022. Previously, Cris held the position of AVP, Regional Sourcing Manager - APAC at Citi from March 2021 to July 2022 and was the Global Talent Building Squad Leader/People Manager at Johnson & Johnson from August 2018 to December 2020, where leadership of a global squad focused on talent attraction and pipeline development was a key responsibility. Earlier roles include Recruitment Team Lead at Yondu, Sr. Recruitment Lead at PeoplePlusTech Inc., Senior Consultant at VTRAC Consulting Corporation, and various positions at Volenday and Headstrong. Cris began a professional journey in recruitment with a foundational role at ExeQserve and also has teaching experience as an English Instructor at SJ International Language Center. Cris earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
