Lead Data Scientist - Analytics Area at Emarsys

János Divényi has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of data science, teaching, and research. János began their career in 2010 as a Research Fellow at Századvég Gazdaságkutató Zrt., where they analyzed labor market data and contributed to policy-oriented research reports. In 2012, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Eötvös Loránd University before transitioning to a role as a Data Analyst and Teaching Fellow at Central European University in 2013. During this time, they conducted interdisciplinary research on political corruption and taught programming tools and data analysis courses. In 2015, János joined Emarsys as a Data Scientist, where they utilized their skills in SQL, R, and Python to support product managers in data-driven decision making and build predictive models for marketing. János later took on leadership positions at Emarsys, serving as the Lead Data Scientist in both the Research and Analytics areas. In 2019, they also began working as a Teaching Fellow at Eötvös Loránd University and as a Visiting Professor at Central European University in 2021. Overall, János Divényi has demonstrated expertise in data science, research, and teaching throughout their career.
