Amy Besida is a dedicated educational leader with extensive experience in program development and instructional coaching. Currently serving as the Chief Program Officer at Embarc since July 2016, Amy oversees key programming components, ensuring effective collaboration across teams to achieve desired outcomes. Previous roles at Embarc include Director of Learning and Head of Coaching, where Amy focused on program evolution and experiential education quality. With a decade-long background in teaching and coaching at Chicago Public Schools and Chicago Talent Development High School, paired with a Master of Arts in Trauma and Resilience from Concordia University Chicago, Amy possesses a strong foundation in educational best practices and a commitment to fostering student success.
