Linda Hovde

Linda Hovde has a diverse work experience in the field of design and art. Linda is currently working at Embark Studios as a UX Director, leading the user experience efforts. Prior to this, they were the Lead UX Artist and later a UX Artist at the same company. Before joining Embark Studios, Linda worked as a Senior UI Artist at G-Loot, where they designed user interfaces for PC and mobile products. Linda also has experience at GEELY Design Global as a Senior Visual/Motion Artist, where they were responsible for designing visuals, motion graphics, and animations for car user interfaces. Earlier in their career, Linda worked as a 3D & UI Artist at HiQ, creating assets and environments for VR and AR experiences. Linda also served as the Digital Lead at Brave Zone, managing digital projects and creating animations, UI/UX designs, and web designs. Linda began their career as a Digital/UI Designer at Hogia-gruppen and later worked as a Graphic Designer. Linda also worked as a Graphic Designer at New Wave Group on a temporary basis. Linda's work experience includes teaching art and design classes as an Art Educator at Medborgarskolan.

Linda Hovde obtained a Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts from Blekinge Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2006 to 2008. In addition, they have completed various certifications in the field of virtual reality and gaming accessibility, including courses from Microsoft and Coursera.
