Kara Pate has a diverse work experience spanning various healthcare and administrative roles. Kara is currently the Vice President of Outreach, Specialty Programs at Embark Behavioral Health, where they are dedicated to reducing adolescent and teen suicide rates. Previously, Kara worked as the National Director of Clinical Outreach, West Coast at Silver Hill Hospital. Kara also held the position of Regional Director of Clinical Partnerships at Selah House and Toledo Center for Eating Disorders, as well as Director of Business Development at Ocean Recovery. Additionally, Kara served as the Director of Marketing and Communications at CAST Centers LLC and had an extensive tenure as the Ministry Outreach and Southwest Regional Representative at Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center. Kara started their career as a Corporate Administrative Assistant at Fuscoe Engineering.

Kara Pate obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication from California State University, Long Beach, which they attended from 2003 to 2006. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Social Entrepreneurship and Change from Pepperdine University, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. In addition, Kara obtained a certification from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in May 2014.
