John Knepprath has extensive experience in various roles within the sales and business development fields. John started their career at Deluxe Corporation as a Customer Service Representative, where they provided support to outside sales and managed production orders. John then transitioned to Georgia-Pacific LLC, first as an Outside Sales Representative and later as a Senior Product Specialist Sales, where they specialized in engineered lumber framing layouts and calculations and provided technical and sales support to field representatives and customers. John also served as a Regional Sales Trader, leading cross-communication for mill production and pricing to optimize sales margins. Following their time at Georgia-Pacific LLC, John joined Weekes Forest Products, Inc as a Sales Manager, where they established and led a sales team in marketing technical building products to lumber yards and home centers. John then moved to Dedicated Computing as an Account Manager, overseeing sales development and product lifecycle for external accounts. Currently, John works at EmbedTek as a Product Manager, where they manage embedded computer/camera/sensor products and provides creative solutions to help customers become leaders in their fields.
John Knepprath completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications/Marketing at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Afterward, they pursued a Management Certificate from the Wisconsin School of Business from 2017 to 2019, specializing in Business Administration and Management. In addition to their formal education, John also obtained several certifications, including the Foundations of Management Certificate, Project Management: Planning, Scheduling, and Control, Managing Teams Effectively, and Transition to Manager: A One-Week Boot Camp, all from UW-Madison's Center for Professional and Executive Development. Additionally, they obtained the ISO 13485:2003 Internal Auditor TPECS certification from BSI in 2014.
