Elisabeth Cremona is a Senior Energy Analyst at Ember, an independent think-tank focused on accelerating the global electricity transition, where key contributions include analyzing EU decarbonisation policies and the allocation of public funds. Previously, as a Policy Analyst at The Energy and Water Agency, Elisabeth led the development of Malta’s first national energy system modelling framework and played a significant role in the national electricity supply forecast. Elisabeth served as a Lecturer and Unit Coordinator at the University of Malta, instructing on sustainable development and eco-politics, and contributed to curriculum enhancements. In an earlier role as a Policy Officer, Elisabeth managed the Maltese EU Presidency programme in Greece and Cyprus, promoting migration initiatives. Educational achievements include an M.Sc. in Environment and Development from the University of Edinburgh and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Earth Systems from the University of Malta.
