Anne Ephrussi

Director, EICAT at EMBL

Anne Ephrussi is the Director of EICAT at EMBL. Anne has also held positions at Harvard University and the University of Göttingen as a Business Development Fellow, Principal, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow, respectively.

Anne's research focuses on the development of technologies for the study of cell fate determination and cell reprogramming. Anne has also conducted research on the use of CRISPR-Cas9 for genome editing and the development of modifications to improve its efficiency and specificity.

Anne Ephrussi holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Göttingen, an MSc in Molecular Biology from the International Max Planck Research School, and a BSc in Molecular Biology from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University. Anne is also certified by the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Program, a division of BRANY.
