Jurgen Degros, CTP

Jurgen Degros, CTP has over 20 years of experience in finance and treasury. Jurgen began their career in 1999 as a Market Risk Analyst at Artesia BC. In 2001, they joined Ally as a Treasury Director - Treasury Services, where they set up and maintained treasury and payment solutions for the company, improved efficiency and cost effectiveness, and managed an appropriate bank account structure and proper controls and policies. Jurgen was also responsible for creating cash management reports and assisting with external audit and regulatory exams and reporting. In this role, they also created investor presentations for banks that provided secured credit, allowing the company to reach its funding target. Additionally, they negotiated unsecured credit agreements with 200+ banks providing over $20B across subsidiaries in Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific (including China). In 2009, they were promoted to Head of European Funding Desk, where they delivered both investment of the cash portfolio and the funding of the European subsidiaries through unsecured private credit facilities, public debt issuances, and the related hedge activities. Jurgen also set up unsecured debt programs for Euro Commercial Paper, Euro Medium Term Notes, Euro Retail Notes, and Commercial Paper program in Poland. In 2019, they joined JD Treasury Consulting as a Treasury Consultant. Currently, they are the Vice President of Finance at Embold Health.

Jurgen Degros obtained their Master's degree in Finance from KU Leuven in 1999. Jurgen also holds a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification from the Association for Financial Professionals.
