Mark Blackham

Mark Blackham has over nine years of experience in the technology industry. Mark started their career in 2012 as a Tech Operations at Curb Event Center. In 2014, they joined Belmont University as a Student Services Computer Administrator, where they were responsible for installing and optimizing software and hardware for servers and other company assets. Mark was later promoted to Event Operations Coordinator, Event Operations Technician and Interim Operations Manager. In 2016, they became Co-Owner of Blacksmith Media. In 2020, they joined Embold Health as an Information Technology Administrator and Manager, IT Administration and Operations. In 2021, they were promoted to Director IT Infrastructure and then Vice President of Engineering. In this role, they were instrumental in consolidating legacy technology stack to a single API and redesigning and certifying the entire technology eco-system under expanded compliance scope. Mark was also responsible for accurately reporting and forecasting multi-year Technology budget.

Mark Blackham attended Weddington High School from 2008 to 2010. Mark then obtained a Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering Technology from Belmont University between 2010 and 2015. Mark went on to pursue a Master of Science in Audio Engineering Technology from Belmont University, which they completed in 2021. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from CompTIA, including CompTIA A+ (2017), CompTIA IT Operations Specialist (2019), and CompTIA Network+ (2019). Mark has also obtained HIPAA Awareness for Business Associates and HIPAA Security certifications from HIPAA Training (2020). Mark is also CPR/AED certified and Forklift certified.
