Mahmood Razavi

Dr. Razavi specializes in image-guided therapy for cancer and endovascular treatment of vascular diseases. Before becoming the Director of Clinical Trials and the Research Center at St. Joseph Heart & Vascular Center, he held faculty positions at UCLA and Stanford University. Dr. Razavi chairs the Interventions Committee for the ATTRACT Trial, determining the best treatment for patients with proximal DVT. He obtained an MD from the University of Southern California and undertook his residency and fellowship at UCLA and Stanford. He is the Editor-in-Chief – Techniques in Vascular & Interventional Radiology, and is a member of the Council on Cardiovascular Radiology and Intervention – American Heart Association. Dr. Razavi chairs the Scientific Program – Society of Interventional Radiology.
