Nucdalie Cherident is a DEI Specialist at Embrace Families since October 2022, focusing on addressing disparities affecting children and families of color in the child welfare system through new DEI programs and data monitoring systems. Previously, Nucdalie served as the Outreach Coordinator for the Anti Racist Leadership Program at the University of Central Florida, leading engagement activities and promoting anti-racist education. Nucdalie's research experience includes work as a Researcher on a study regarding racial ideology and drug policies and as a Research Assistant analyzing food insecurity among UCF students. Additionally, Nucdalie interned with the United Nations Association-Orlando and Kann Caribbean Kitchen, where skills in research and marketing were further developed. Nucdalie is pursuing a Master's degree in Public Policy at the University of Central Florida, building on a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and an Associate of Arts from Valencia College.
