Alexandre Varella is currently the Coordinator of Embrapa Labex USA, overseeing international research collaborations between Embrapa and American institutions. With a background in tree-pasture systems and growth modeling, Alexandre has extensive experience in research management and administration, particularly in the field of forage plants and pasture systems. Alexandre has also held leadership roles in research teams and has lectured on plant science and management at UERGS. With a Ph.D. in Plant Sciences from Lincoln University and post-doctorate experience in the same field, Alexandre brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current position.
