Dr. Jim Marion

Dr. Jim Marion, PMP, PMI-RMP, currently serves as the Department Chair and Associate Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in the College of Business, specializing in Decision Sciences since August 2013. With extensive academic experience, Dr. Marion has held various roles including Vice Speaker of the Faculty Senate and Assistant Professor in Project Management and Engineering Management. Previous academic appointments include Program Chair at Argosy University and positions at Strayer University and ITT Technical Institute, where Dr. Marion was Dean overseeing a campus with over 550 students. Dr. Marion has a strong background in the industry, having been the General Manager at JLG Industries and President of Panasonic Mobile Communications in the Americas.

Dr. Marion holds a PhD in Organization and Management with a specialization in IT Management from Capella University, along with multiple advanced degrees in business and engineering from institutions including Heriot-Watt University and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
