Elaine Choy

Elaine Choy, M.S., is an accomplished research scientist at Soar Technology, Inc., focusing on a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency project that explores decision-making in medical triage to inform algorithm development for complex situations. As a doctoral candidate and graduate researcher at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Elaine supports the Navy's initiative for diversity and inclusion through research-based training and education. Previous experience includes a graduate research internship at the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, where Elaine conducted research on hypoxia symptoms and military training methods, and a role as a research analyst at the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute, developing innovative training solutions for the U.S. military. Elaine holds a Master of Science in Human Factors and is pursuing a PhD in the same field at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, following a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology.
