Joshua Caulkins

Joshua Caulkins is an experienced academic leader in the field of education and STEM pedagogy, currently serving as the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University since February 2021. Prior to this role, Joshua held positions at Arizona State University as Assistant Director of Undergraduate Programs and at the University of Rhode Island as Assistant Director for Faculty Development, where significant contributions were made to improving undergraduate education through various faculty development initiatives. Joshua's earlier roles include the Assessment and Pedagogy Specialist for the Integrate Project at Carleton College and diverse teaching and research positions at The University of British Columbia, focusing on instructional methods, geoscience education, and field research. Joshua holds a Master of Science in Hydrogeology and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from The University of British Columbia and the University of California, Santa Cruz, respectively.
