Bill Bowman

Bill Bowman, CISSP, has a strong career in information security. Bill is currently the Chief Information Security Officer at Emburse since May 2020. Previously, they served as the Founding President of the (ISC)2 Eastern Massachusetts chapter, starting in May 2012.

Before joining Emburse, Bill was the Chief Security Officer at ZoomInfo from March 2019 to January 2020. Prior to that, they served as the CISO at Eze Software from October 2016 to March 2019.

Bill also has experience in the education industry, working as the VP of Cyber Security at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt from May 2014 to October 2016. Before that, they worked at Bright Horizons as the Director of Technology & Information Security, Risk and Compliance from September 2004 to May 2014.

Their earlier roles include serving as the Director of Technology at ChildrenFirst from 1998 to 2004 and as a Production Manager at Logal Software from 1994 to 1998. Throughout their career, Bill has consistently demonstrated their expertise and leadership in the field of information security.

Bill Bowman, CISSP, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Science, Management, and Sociology from UMass Boston, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Marquette University from 1991 to 1993, majoring in Management. From 1988 to 1991, Bill attended St. Sebastian's, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
