Gaby de Jong

Gaby de Jong has extensive work experience in the field of product management and user experience. Gaby currently holds the position of Vice President of Product Management at Emburse since March 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Roadmap™ for several years, starting as a UX research intern and progressing to the roles of Product Owner & UX, Product Manager, and finally Head of Product. In these positions, they were responsible for product strategy, planning, and execution, as well as managing teams and facilitating communication.

Gaby also gained experience as a UI Design Intern at VSTEP Simulation, where they improved the User Interface of the NAUTIS simulator instructor station. Additionally, they served as the Chairman and Member of the Education Committee at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where they advocated for student voices, facilitated meetings, and provided feedback on educational matters.

Before their professional pursuits, Gaby worked as a Hostess at Dierenrijk and as a Sales Representative at Bloemsierkunst Fleur-Inn and Esprit. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong commitment to delivering quality products, enhancing user experiences, and contributing to the success of their teams and organizations.

Gaby de Jong completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ghent University, from 2012 to 2014. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Human Technology from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, from 2014 to 2018.
