William Vestal

William Vestal has a significant amount of work experience in various leadership roles in technology companies. William is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Emburse, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the VP Engineering Experience at Emburse from December 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Emburse, Vestal worked at CCC Information Services as the VP Product Development, Casualty from April 2019 to December 2021. In this role, they were responsible for leading the development of products and services related to healthcare expenses resulting from auto accidents. William also played a key role in modernizing the platform.

Vestal also had multiple roles at Cotiviti. William served as the VP Digital Content Management from January 2018 to April 2019, where they focused on policy development and enterprise deployment. Additionally, they were the VP Innovation from September 2015 to April 2019, where they worked on emerging technologies and development approaches. Prior to these roles, they held the positions of VP Innovation from August 2013 to September 2015 and VP Technical Solutions from October 2009 to July 2013.

Earlier in their career, Vestal worked as a Principal Consultant at Vestal Enterprises from July 2008 to March 2010. William also served as the VP Engineering Services at AMERICAN SYSTEMS from September 1999 to June 2008. Additionally, they had roles at Thoughtmill / American Systems and thoughtmill as a VP of Engineering from 2003 to 2008 and from 1999 to 2007, respectively.

William Vestal attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1994 where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. William also acquired several certifications from Coursera, including "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," and "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" in 2017 and 2014.
