James Tai

James Tai is the current Managing Partner at EMCIFund, an early stage venture capital fund focusing on life sciences start-ups. James also serves as a Board Member at the American Diabetes Association, ARViE, MerNA Biosciences, and Vox Health, where James is involved in various healthcare and innovation initiatives. With previous experience at EWB Healthcare Life Sciences, GE Capital Healthcare, and Paul Capital Partners, James has a strong background in healthcare venture financing and private equity. James holds a Master of Science in Biomedical & Clinical Informatics from Stanford University School of Medicine, an MBA in Finance, Venture Capital & Private Equity from UCLA Anderson School of Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics from UCLA.
