James Child

James Child has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. James began their career in 1989 as a member of The Parachute Regiment, where they served in various operational tours in Northern Ireland and in Iraq and Afghanistan until 2014. Following this, James worked at London Mining Plc from 2013 to 2015, holding roles of increasing responsibility including Operations Manager and Contract Manager, overseeing mining operations and transportation of iron ore in Sierra Leone. From 2015 to 2022, they served as the Head of Facilities & Estates at East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH). And currently, James is the Head of Operations at EMCOR UK, starting from 2022.

James Child completed their Bachelor of Arts degree at The Open University from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they studied strategic management and leadership at the Chartered Management Institute from 2011 to 2013.
