Alan Ginsberg

Alan Ginsberg is a seasoned executive currently serving as Vice President and Head of Global Licensing & Business Development for New Therapeutic Areas at EMD Serono, Inc. since 2023, where responsibilities include leading inorganic growth strategies and managing cross-functional teams to enhance the company's pipeline. Previously, Ginsberg held key roles in corporate development at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, focusing on gastrointestinal therapeutics, and led global business development efforts in neuroscience at Takeda and Shire. Ginsberg’s extensive experience includes negotiating significant transactions, conducting due diligence, and supporting strategic planning. An MBA graduate from Harvard Business School, Ginsberg has also contributed to boards, such as OncoResponse, Inc., and has held consulting roles at L.E.K.
