Chia Chi Sun

Chia Chi Sun is a Principal Scientist at EMD Serono, Inc. since August 2013, specializing in the translational aspects of non-clinical data and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive scientific strategy across multiple indications. Key achievements include leading a research collaboration that delivered a non-clinical data package for Phase 1 and 3 assets, co-leading an innovation cluster that utilized AI/ML tools, and managing laboratory operations to support mechanism of action studies. Prior to this role, Chia Chi Sun held various positions, including Consultant at FerruMax Pharmaceuticals, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital, and different research roles at Tufts University. Chia Chi Sun holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from Tufts University School of Medicine and a BA in Biology from Smith College.
