Kalyanee Viraswami-Appanna

Kalyanee Viraswami-Appanna has extensive experience in the biostatistics field, currently serving as Vice President and Global Head of Biostatistics at EMD Serono, Inc. Previously, Kalyanee held the role of Vice President of Biometrics at Bristol Myers Squibb, and has advanced through various positions at Novartis, including Executive Director, Director, and Senior Associate Director of Biostatistics. Kalyanee also contributed to Bristol Myers Squibb as Associate Director, Principal Biostatistician, and Senior Research Biostatistician. The career began at Johnson & Johnson as a Biostatistician. Kalyanee Viraswami-Appanna earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Statistics from the University of Toronto from 1991 to 1994.
