Piotr Mazurek

Piotr Mazurek is a highly experienced professional in the field of polymer science and engineering, currently serving as a Scientific Senior Consultant and Scientific Lead Consultant at Emendo Consulting Group since October 2023. Previously, Piotr held roles as a Senior Sustainability & Materials Engineer and R&D Engineer at Ambu A/S from February 2021 to June 2023, focusing on reducing the environmental impact of medical devices and packaging through innovative material selection and design optimization. Piotr's academic background includes a PhD from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where research covered glycerol-silicone technology for drug delivery applications, as well as postdoctoral research on enzyme encapsulation at McMaster University and industrial projects at GRUNDFOS. Piotr's educational qualifications also include a Master of Science in Polymer Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin.
