R. Michael Roberts

R. Michael Roberts has an extensive work history, spanning from 1988 to 2014. R. Michael began their career as a Senior Staff Accountant at Coopers&lybrand, where they worked from 1988 to 1990. R. Michael then transitioned to Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, where they served as a Management Consultant from 1990 to 1993. In 1997, they joined Bell Aliant as Vice President, Regulatory & Government Affairs, and later became Vice President, Human Resources, holding both positions until 2009. From 2009 to 2012, Roberts worked as Vice President, Corporate Development at Irving Shipbuilding. In 2012, they joined Optimum Talent as President, Optimum Talent Atlantic, a position they held until 2014. Roberts' most recent role is Chief Human Resources Officer at Emera, a position they have held since April 2014.
