Yahya Benslimane

Yahya Benslimane's work experience includes a role as a Scientific Developer at Emerald Cloud Lab starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the Institut de recherche en immunologie et en cancérologie (IRIC) from 2013 to 2021. During their time there, they were a Doctoral Researcher, studying genome stability maintenance networks in cancer cells and identifying gene disruptions and small molecule mechanisms-of-action. Yahya also served as a Teaching Assistant from May 2017 to August 2017. Before joining IRIC, Yahya worked as a Research Trainee at Université de Montréal in both Dr. Lea Harrington's and Dr. Christian Baron's laboratories in the field of biochemistry.

Yahya Benslimane completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Medecine from Université de Montréal from 2010 to 2013. Subsequently, they pursued their higher studies at the same institution and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Molecular Biology from 2013 to 2020. In 2016, Yahya Benslimane also completed an Advanced Research Training Course in Physical Biology of the Cell at the Marine Biological Laboratory.
