Rodrigo Vaz-Pires

Rodrigo Vaz-Pires is an experienced product manager currently serving as the Head of Product and Technology at Emerald Technology since July 2022, where leadership of the Employer of Record platform's ideation and launch is a key responsibility. Prior to this role, Rodrigo contributed to Talkdesk's Digital Engagement team as a Product Manager, enhancing platform capabilities and integrating new digital channels. At QOMPLX, the focus was on Research and Development for digital products, utilizing machine learning and artificial intelligence. Early career experiences include working as an Associate Product Manager at Farfetch, where collaboration with supply chain teams and software engineering was paramount, as well as a Junior Analyst Intern, where a Master's thesis on delivery planning optimization was completed. Rodrigo holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, complemented by an Erasmus+ exchange program at Chalmers University of Technology and additional studies at the University of Helsinki.
